Hey Friends, Happy Monday! Todays post is a little different from what I usually share. I thought it would be really cool to share some ajeducation and a little about learning location and trust. I am bringing you guys along a shoot and even give a little sneak behind the scenes. This was a shoot I did with one of my #ajseniors. It was mostly in downtown Mt. Clemens but we also spent some time in a little field to get those shots of her in the gown! In addition the important thing here is to see how what you might see on the outside could be completely basic and average but what I am seeing in my eyes is so much more!
For example, I was able to get these shots because my senior trusted me and my creative vision! Had she looked at some of these locations and said no and not trusted my judgement we wouldn’t have captured some of the most beautiful images. There are even more amazing shots I didn’t include here that are in the actual session post. I will link that below. Definitely check that one out if you haven’t already!
What your looking at in the left photos is my second shooter just snapping shots of me doing my thing! Then on the right are those same moments from my eyes that I delivered in a final gallery. These location choices may surprise you. I will say I am always looking at multiple variables for setting up the perfect shot. I am never just placing my subject in a pretty area and snapping away. There is so much more that goes into my thought process.
Honestly the topic of location and using it to your full advantage needs to be a single post in itself. Maybe some time I can do a post just on that! For today though I just wanted to share these with you and show a little glimpse inside how I work!
As always thanks for coming along my journey and I hope you enjoy! I think location and trust is such a huge factor while shooting. I was so happy to share some of my own insight on it. Drop a comment below and let me know what you think of these kind of posts. I would love to continue to share more behind the scenes!
Big hugs and lots of love,
Adriannah Jean

3 Dec 2018AJ, you did amazing and you are the best photographer I know. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to have you take my pictures from my senior year! I wouldn’t have picked anyone else. It’s crazy that your eye works as a camera and you can always find the best spot. I recommend you to anyone and everyone because I know your work is to die for.
